APEX represents Clinical Physiologists working across Aotearoa New Zealand, including those employed by Te Whatu Ora and in private practice.
Key improvements secured in the most recent Clinical Physiology Agreement include:
- Removal of the merit cap for renal physiologists
- Nailing Advanced Practice for Technicians
- An increase to the travelling clinic allowance, now $75.00 per day
- Improved pay for remote phone and computer-based work
- Better access to time off for fatigue
- Attention to working in an isolated environment at night.
